Lil crash

So last Tuesday the day I posted the pictures of the bike and the trailer I was out on my bike in the evening and had a little unexpected meeting between the ground and my face. I went to the emergency room and got a few stitches and whatnot put in. I was wearing a helmet and didn't really hit my head anyways. Well, I got my stitches out today, my lips are still real swollen and my arm has a pretty bad abrasion but I think everything is healing nicely and it will not postpone my departure one bit.

Thanks a bunch.

hey art! how are you? i think you should spend all extra time learning an instrument, maybe playing the harmonica, since it is so transportable. :) i hope you're having fun!

And the First Comment Award go to..... Tracy!!!

Thanks, I have thought about that and will continue thinking about it until something pushes me to make a purchase but I could definitely see myself picking one up along the way. I am also thinking about getting really good at bird calls.

Ouch Art.

To add to Tracy's list:

Neglect cutting hair / shaving (for a while I cultivated this MAD cool petifile crustache in France).

Megaphone attachment or Umbrella attachment

Speed-o

Pet rock (a light weight one for the road).

Keep posting!

Oh man bumz about the crash. Well, it will only make you stronger right? When I fell off my bike it hurt but then I got stronger (and I had a bunch of rum).

Advice:

Do a lot of couchsurfing. It is absolutely the best ever, or as they say in some parts, supercool.

Bring a little stove so you can cookemup cheap meals.

Bring a funny costume.

Pimp your bike every day just a tiny bit more so that when you get to Mexico you will get all the senoritas.

don't forget your passport

see ya in January, have fun!
